Let me just say it, for the record: If you choose to be what society views as “anti-social” and lock yourself up in your room and write merely because it makes you happy? THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH THAT! People will try and diagnose you, make you go completely out of your comfort zone because they think there is something wrong with you. We live in a generation where the internet is the next thing, it is where most relationships stem from, however far away. Yes. People lie, but not everyone is a liar. Not everyone will be a “Catfish” and be someone they’re not. SOME people happen to be exceptionally genuine. Where this is a rarity, I feel far more comfortable with my Tumblr “family” and friends than I do with most of my distant relatives. Remember, DNA and blood do not make you family. LOVE does. And merely because society cannot comprehend that, does not mean you have to feel any less of yourself. You are beautiful. You are amazing, and you are talented. You do not have to change to appease the masses. Be yourself. It’s the only way you’ll ever be happy. xoxo.
